    The pink prawn is a prized crustacean with a yellowish pink colour.
    It is caught with trawl nets in the Mediterranean Sea, FAO area 37.1.2, and then processed and frozen ashore, packed in 1 kg bags. Its firm, compact meat makes it particularly appreciated in many Italian recipes.
