ON THE CREST OF THE WAVE

The story of our company begins in Sicily, in a small town in the province of Trapani that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and is constantly bathed in sunshine: Mazara del Vallo. At its heart is a family of skilled seafarers, the Misuraca family, who have been fishing since 1861, starting a tradition now in its fourth generation.

After decades of experience, Medipesca was founded in 1993 out of our family’s wish to take on a new and important business venture in the seafood sector. Today it is an established company dedicated to processing and selling Mediterranean seafood species.

Our whole business is centred on sourcing and distributing local excellence, strictly from our own seas and caught by our own fishing boats, and on processing and packaging carried out in full compliance with the law using innovative, modern technology.

Medipesca does not limit the quality of its products to Italy. Thanks to an unbroken cold chain from production to final delivery, our company also exports its Mediterranean seafood excellence all over the world.
